Resumo

O presente artigo tem como principal objetivo apresentar os três principais sistemas

de geração de energia no Brasil, sendo eles, provenientes de centrais

Termoelétricas, Nucleares e Hidrelétricas, e relacionar na situação atual, algumas

características como a capacidade instalada, os custos de operação, a produção, o

mercado atual, os impactos ambientais na indústria e na sociedade, os

investimentos previstos no setor. O artigo argumenta e debate a situação atual e a

tendência que a matriz energética brasileira deve tomar futuramente com as

características apresentadas, chegando à conclusão que a solução para problema

da energia no Brasil não é discutir a melhor matriz energética para o futuro, e sim

investir em pesquisas de eficiência energética para diminuir o consumo de energia e

então evitar a construção de novas usinas.

THE STUDY OF THE RELATION BETWEEN THE SOURCES AND ITS

PARTICIPATION IN THE ENERGY MATRIX OF THE COUNTRY

Abstract

The present article has as main objective to present the three main systems of

generation of energy in Brazil, being been they, proceeding from Thermoelectrial

central offices, Nucleates and Hidroeletrics, and to relate in the current situation,

some characteristics as the installed capacity, the operation costs, the production,

the current market, the ambient impacts in the industry and the society, the

investments foreseen in the sector. The article argues and has debated the current

situation and the trend that the Brazilian energy matrix must take future with the

presented characteristics, arriving the conclusion that the solution for problem of the

energy in Brazil is not to argue the best energy matrix for the future, and yes to invest

in research of energy efficiency to diminish the energy consumption and then to

prevent the construction of new plants.
