Resumo
O presente estudo pretende comparar textos por meio de uma resenha crítica executada com ênfase na compreensão da forma como as pesquisas se deram. Os textos selecionados foram elaborados pela Professora Drª Maraliz de Castro Vieira Christo¹ e pelo Professor Dr. Robert Daibert Junior² acerca da Princesa Isabel trazendo diferentes olhares acerca da história e da forma como foi consolidada as diferentes percepções sobre princesa, desmistificando muitas questões do imaginário popular e elucidando, de fato, quem foi a Princesa Isabel.

Abstract
The presente study intends to compare texts through a critical review executed with emphasis in the comprehension of the way the research took place.The chosen texts were elaborated by the Prof. Maraliz de Castro Vieira Christo, PostDoc. and the Prof. Robert Daibert Junior, PhD. about the Princess Isabel bringing different perspectives of her history and how the different perceptions about the princess was consolidated, demystifying many questions of the popular imaginary and bringing to the light, who actually was the Princess Isabel.
