Transtono Bipolar

Esse estudo tem como abordagem central a assistência prestada aos pacientes com transtorno afetivo bipolar (TB), visando esclarecer o papel do enfermeiro na terapêutica psicológica, ocupacional e comportamental nos CAPS da cidade de Salvador-BA utilizados para realização dessas intervenções. No estudo, observou-se que a maioria dos pacientes acometidos por TB são do sexo feminino, e adultos jovens com severas frustrações psicológico-afetivos. A maioria tinha apoio familiar, porém, demonstravam muita dificuldade na aceitação da doença.

ABSTRACT

This study holds its central thesis on the assistance given to the patients with affective bipolar disorder (BD). It aims to clarify nursery's role on psychological, occupational and behavioral therapy used in the performing of those interventions in the Psychosocial Care Centers (CAPS) of Salvador-Bahia. In this study, researches showed that the most of the patients with BD are females and young adults with severe psychological and affective frustrations. Most of them had family support, yet showed difficulties on accepting the illness.

Interviews with nursery teams on the CAPS revealed that the nurses are not only worried about healing the patients, but also humanizing and socializing with them, strenghtening the patient-family-therapeutical relation, and keeping more self-confidence and responsibility on their treatment and cure.

Foram realizadas entrevistas com equipes de enfermagem nos CAPS e observou-se que os enfermeiros não só se preocupam em cuidar dos pacientes, mas também em humanizar e socializar-se com esses pacientes, fortalecendo a relação doente-família-terapêutica, mantendo mais autoconfiança e responsabilidade pelo seu tratamento e sua cura.
