The tourism nowadays is present in the whole world, most people enjoy travel for a lot of countries, it is delight but also has bad consequences. In a point of view, contributes a lot for the economy, in contrast to, the money doesn´t go to the locals, it goes to multinationals.  In addition, the unaware tourism can cause a lot of negatives effects for the environment, as scarce of water, food, and energy resources. Although, there is a term, eco-tourism, it can solve all these problems.

        On the one hand, the tourism contributes for the economy of the country, even though it is lower than envisaged. As it says in the text “Despite the importance of the tourism industry to local economies… the generation of income for the local economy is often lower than envisaged.”. On the other hand, the tourism cause negatives impacts for the locals and for the environment, as scarce of water, food, and energy resources. How mentioned in the text “Areas suffering from scarce water, food and energy resources can see the situation deteriorate with the extra demand caused by an influx of tourists. There will often be a physical impact as well, with increases in local population or the effect on the eco-system of large-scale construction.”.

        Recently, the termed of eco-tourism changed, the real meaning is making a sustainable travel. One argument in favour of this is minimize the impact causing by tourism, also aware the tourists of culture and environment. As stated in the text “In addition to minimising the impact of tourism on the environment, successful eco-tourism should also raise the awareness of cultural and environmental issues amongst the local host destination and the visiting tourist.” Set against this, it doesn´t all people who is willing to travel with these terms, decreasing the tourism, accordingly, less money flowing into the country.

Considering all the points, the tourism boosts the economy, but sometimes the money goes to the ‘wrong hands’, it is harming the locals. It is true that a big flow of tourists have consequences for the environment and the solution proposed by the text was the eco-tourist. In contrast to, there would be people who wouldn´t travel in these conditionals, so there will be a financial decrease in the places where uses this system.
