A relação mútua de interesses entre igreja e o Estado Franco nos primórdios da idade média

Resumo: Com a queda do império Romano do ocidente, passam a ocorrer uma série de mudanças estruturais na sociedade dos domínios romanos. Em meio a isso, no período de transição entre o século V e o X, a responsabilidade da reconstrução de uma sociedade – a qual se encontrava instável e volátil após a fragmentação do império romano - sólida e uniforme ficou sob jugo de um novo império, o Franco, o qual buscou apoio na crescente ascensão da igreja para firmar seus interesses, e vice versa. Como saldo da crescente influência do império Franco juntamente à igreja, podemos observar que os séculos que se seguiram à dissolução dos francos ainda reproduziram boa parte do legado deixado por eles, os quais contribuíram grandemente para a construção de boa parte das estruturas vigentes no feudalismo.

Abstract: With the fall of the Roman empire from the West, a series of structural changes in the society of the Roman dominions takes place. In the midst of this, in the transition period between the fifth and tenth centuries, the responsibility for rebuilding a society - which was unstable and volatile after the fragmentation of the Roman empire - solid and uniform was under the yoke of a new empire, the Franco, who sought support in the growing ascension of the church to firm their interests, and vice versa. As a balance of the growing influence of the Franco empire together with the church, we can observe that the centuries that followed the dissolution of the Franks still reproduced much of the legacy left by them, which contributed greatly to the construction of many of the structures in force in feudalism.
