RESUMO

O presente estudo tem como objetivo compreender de que forma os professores estão lidando com a questão da inclusão como foco principal, alunos deficientes auditivos no processo ensino-aprendizagem no Ensino Fundamental I. Pesquisa-se ainda, se o professor sente-se capacitado para trabalhar com esse tipo de aluno. Os sujeitos da pesquisa foram professores de Educação Fundamental que trabalham diretamente com crianças de 1º ao 5º ano. Para tal, foi oferecido um questionário contendo vinte e três perguntas de como os professores se sentem sobre a questão da inclusão. O local para a realização do estudo foi em duas escolas municipais de Bauru e uma estadual. Este trabalho foi realizado com intuito de conhecer quais as dificuldades encontradas pelos professores do ensino fundamental para alfabetizar os alunos surdos e saber qual o conhecimento que tais professores têm em relação à alfabetização. Pesquisamos um grupo de professores para saber quais seus reais atendimentos sobre a deficiência auditiva e se a inclusão está sendo feita. Para isso foram aplicados questionários para 23 professores, que trabalham na rede pública e municipal, com graduação e especialização. A pesquisa nos mostra que alguns professores não possuem conhecimento sobre a língua de sinais, Libras, e também possuem dificuldades em alfabetização e na aquisição de materiais para o mesmo. Os entrevistados concluem que a falta de preparo dos professores e a falta de materiais dificulta muito no ensino- aprendizagem do aluno surdo. Conclui-se que se deve criar um ambiente alfabetizador que favoreça o aluno surdo à aprendizagem, pois é direito assegurado numa perspectiva inclusiva e fator determinante de integração e formação de uma sociedade mais justa, democrática e igualitária. Portanto os professores precisam ter mais embasamento teórico, procurar saber mais sobre os alunos surdos, obter materiais e dinâmicas.

ABSTRACT

The present study aims to understand how teachers are dealing with the issue of inclusion as the main focus, hearing impaired students in the teaching-learning process in Elementary School I.  The research is also if the teacher feels qualified to work with this type of student. The subjects of the research were Elementary Education teachers who work directly with children in 1st to 5th grade . For this purpose, it was offered a questionnaire containing twenty-three questions of how teachers feel about the issue of inclusion. The location to carry out the study was in two Municipal Schools of Bauru and one State School. This work was performed in order to know what are the difficulties encountered by teachers of Elementary School to teach literacy the deaf students and to know what the knowledge that these teachers have regarding literacy. We research a group of teachers to know what their actual attendance on hearing impairment and if the inclusion is being made. For this it was applied questionnaires to 23 teachers who work in Public and Municipal schools, with graduation and specialization. The research shows us that some teachers do not have knowledge of sign language, “Libras”, and they also have difficulties in literacy and the acquisition of materials for the same. The interviewees conclude that the lack of preparation of teachers and the lack of materials make it very difficult in the teaching-learning of deaf students. It is concluded that treacher should create an environment that encourages deaf student to learning because it is a right secured and decisive factor of  integration and formation of a fairer, democratic and egalitarian society. So teachers need to have more theoretical basis, find out more about deaf students, obtain materials and dynamics.
