Introduction

      English is the spoken language of the United Kingdom as well as the United States and the second language spoken in many other countries. It is used as an international language at conferences and congresses. It is English in the business world. The civilized way to communicate among people from different languages.

  London, one of the most elegant city- capitals in Europe has one of the most peculiar climates to be observed. Due to London’s geographic location: a great influence on the climate of London is its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean. London does not have the greatest weather in the world, especially compared to other countries located in Europe. London is always cold, almost always colder even through the summer is quite cold.

 The summer is usually rainy with only a few days of sunshine. So, as it can be noticed that the summers, too, can be unpredictable in London, with weeks of continuous rain or overwhelming sunshine greeting the London population. On the other hand, the average maximum temperature can get hotter to 22°C. And sometimes it may go above 30°C. Between the months of June and September, the regular low temperature gets cooler to 13°C and in the meantime thunderstorms can be more experienced. Summer is generally the mildest and the most popular time to be in London.

During the winter, the average temperature ranges around 5°C, with maximums and 7°C and minimums at 2°C. Rainfall and thunderstorms still go on during the winter, although freezing temperature are relatively rare and London sightseeing will still be a greater and more enjoyable experience for those who visit London, with many indoor attractions offering a better and a warmer reprieve for its visitors as well as for the local population.

Spring usually starts in the beginning of March to mid-May, but not always, the temperatures start to get warmer, freezing temperatures get less frequent and the spring days start to get a bit longer. In this environment, spring brings with it, plants blossoming all over the city, trees restore their green leaves and nature giving birth. But it is necessary to mention that even though it is spring, the weather is often still a bit wetter and windier in London.

Autumn in London is one of the most beautiful seasons to be seen. Autumn or Fall starts in September to late November. The gradual change from summer to winter is considered the season with the greatest range in weather conditions. Septembers and as well as Octobers in London can often still have that summer sensation, having registrations of higher temperatures than the month of August. In general, it is usually quite wet and windy in autumn though it is so unstable that one year after another, autumns can seem like different seasons.

One of the best things of life is to travel to places that we see in magazine Sometimes it is more beautiful when you see it live. However not everything that seems perfect to our mind or even to our plans that we revised several times in the hope that nothing goes wrong, really happens as planned. Nevertheless there are some travel hassles that we have to deal with as well as finding a good solution for them.

     Let us take a case of a couple, friends of mine, who decided to take a 7-day-trip to the United States. They planned to in New York City. And everybody knows that New York is one of the most expensive cities in the U.S.A. Not caring about the costs, but only the excitement they would have – they traveled.

    During the whole week they visited many Shopping Malls and bought a great deal of clothes and many presents. Everything was so cheap that they could not resist the temptation of spending more than they had.

   Well, it was time to go back to Brazil. So, they packed their new clothes in their suitcases. As a matter of fact, they had to squeeze all their in their suitcases. But that was no problem. They had all their dream possessions inside those suitcases. So off they went to the airport.

   Getting at the airport, they had a hard time trying to take out the 2 suitcases out of the taxi cab. But they managed to get to check in counter with great effort. After showing their passports to the clerk and receiving their seat numbers they were asked to put the 2 suitcases on the balance. It seemed strange, but the suitcases seemed heavier than before. Probably they were more exhausted after going into so much trouble.

  When they thought that they would sit down and relax until departing, the clerk turns over and tells them that their luggage was overweight and that they would have to pay the excess. When the clerk told them the amount of money they would have to pay, they almost fainted. The amount charged was beyond their financial limits. And now what could they do?

  They asked the clerk permission to take off the luggage from the balance and both sat down thinking of a solution. But what kind of solution if they did not have the exact amount of money to pay. All of a sudden, the man came up with a brilliant idea. Why not put on all the clothes that is in the suitcase. This way they would not need to pay the extra weight since they were wearing them. So each one got a suitcase and went to the restroom to start putting on the clothes.
