RESUMO
O artigo apresenta uma análise integrativa das apresentações acadêmicas realizada na base de dados Lilács e Medline. O objetivo foi deste trabalho foi identificar o que a literatura tem a dizer respeito Características do uso de Cateter Central de Inserção Periférica em Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal. As palavras-chave utilizadas foram: “Uso de PICC em neonatos”, “Manutenção de PICC em neonatos” e “PICC em neonatos”.
Para estudos pré-selecionados, foi realizada leitura de títulos, resumos e palavras-chave. Para estudos selecionados foi realizada leitura analítica dos textos completos. Foram incluídos no estudo estudos de até 10 anos passados, nas línguas portuguesa e inglesa. Cujos resultados de pesquisa estivessem ligados ao uso de PICC em neonatos. Desta seguinte forma, conclui-se que os estudos no idioma Português BR, e Inglês disponíveis na base de dados Lilács e Medline a respeito Características do uso de Cateter Central de Inserção Periférica em Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal tendo a percepção de estudos relacionados a aspectos hospitalares, com práticas utilizada dentro da literatura. Conclui-se que o uso de cateter altera as condições vitais do recém-nascido, e que profissonais da área não sabem manusear e lidar com este tipo de inserção com precisão.

SUMMARY
The article presents an integrative analysis of the academic pages carried out in the Lilac and Medline database. The central catheter of Peripheral Insertion in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The keywords used were: "Use of PICC in neonates", "Maintenance of PICC in neonates" and "PICC in neonates".
For pre-selected students, titles, abstracts and keywords were read. The actions of analyzes of complete texts. Studies of up to 10 years in the English and English languages were included in the study. The results of the consultation were submitted to the use of PICC in neonates. Thus, it is concluded that the studies have Portuguese language BR, and Portuguese available in the Lilacs and Medline database for the use of the doc. hospital, comics within the literature. It concludes that the use of catheter changes as the living conditions of the newborn, and that area professionals are not responsible for dealing with the type of insertion form accurately.
