To that end, we first highlight some challenges and directions for improving throughput and power efficiency, and reducing processing overhead and security issues. Next, we propose a variant of NDN that minimizes identified issues by performing transmissions via unicast to avoid storms on wireless networks. Finally, a performance evaluation was performed to compare the standard native NDN with the Wi-Fi 6 vehicle network proposal. The results show that in the evaluated scenario, our proposal exceeded the standard NDN, achieved a value close to 89% of the fulfilled requests, and reached more than 200% of the received data than the standard NDN. is showing.
