RESUMO
Considerada como uma empresa de âmbito internacional, a GATES DO BRASIL INDÚSTRIA E COMÉRCIO LTDA., foi fundada em 1911, pelo Sr. Charles Gates nos Estados Unidos; com filiais no Canadá, México, Brasil, Europa e Ásia. No Brasil as suas atividades tiveram inicio com a borracha em 1968 na cidade de São Paulo.
A Gates faz parte do setor secundário da Economia e é classificada pelo BNDS (Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento) como uma empresa de grande porte, pois sua receita bruta ultrapassa R$ 900 milhões anuais.
Em 1975 inaugurou a filial em Jacareí, onde os seus principais produtos e serviços seguem no ramo de correias para maquinários industriais; na linha automotiva fabrica correias e mangueiras para automóveis; na linha agrícola fabrica correias e mangueiras para colheitadeiras e tratores; atua também na fabricação de correias encontradas em bombas de piscina, elevadores e, em alguns equipamentos mecânicos como máquina de lavar roupas, prensas e moinhos.
A Gates possui como seus clientes na linha automotiva a GM, Ford, Mercedes, Volkswagen e Fiat. E na linha agrícola a John Deere, AGCO, Case e New Rolland.
Em toda sua constituição podemos analisar a estrutura Logística da empresa Gates do Brasil Indústria e Comércio Ltda, embasados em conhecimentos adquiridos em sala de aula e demonstrando toda a sua competência no abastecimento referente a cadeia de suprimentos e ainda as suas demonstrações das análises contábeis.

ABSTRACT
As a firm of international scope, the Gates of Brazil Trade and Industry LTD. Was founded in 1911 by Mr. Charles Gates in the United States, with subsidiaries in Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Europe and Asia. In Brazil is activities with the rubber in 1968 in São Paulo.
The Gates is part of the secondary sector of the economy and is classified by BNDS(National Development Bank) as a large company, for its gross income exceeds $ 900 million annually.
In 1975 opened the branch in Jacarei, where their main products and services follow the line of belts for industrial machinery, automotive manufactures in the line belts and hoses for automobiles, in line manufactures agricultural belts and hoses for harvesters and tractors, also operates in the manufacturing belt found in pool pumps, elevators and mechanical equipment as some washing machines, presses and mills.
The Gates Foundation as its clients in the automotive line, GM, Ford, Mercedes, Volkswagen and Fiat. And in the agricultural line John Deere, AGCO, Case and New Rolland.
Throughout is constitution we can analyze the structure of the company Logistics Gates of Brazil Trade and Industry LDA, based on knowledge acquired in the classroom and showing all its powers relating to the supply chain and further analysis of its financial statements.
