Agreement:

I (the student) hereby understand that:

COURSE ADMISSION: Courses are open to participants of 14 years of age and over. I am officially enrolled when my name is placed on a class roster, after satisfying all documentation and governmental approval when necessary, and make payments for courses for which I have enrolled. There are no further notifications regarding course start date, unless any changes of course schedule occur. Classes will resume as long as there are a minimum of 5 paying students, conversely; the school will present options to the students to change classes with the same or approximate time and level. If school is unable to do that, a lower level class may be offered or I might have to transfer to another school. My admission ends at the time when I finish my course and once I pass the last level offered by the Institute, the responsibility to transfer or stop studying rests entirely on me. I will not be allowed to remain taking lower levels classes for the sake of reviewing the program; TUITION PAYMENT AND OTHER FEES: Tuition payments are predetermined by course length and load. Registration and material fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. If the school has offered the flexibility of making monthly payments, such monthly payments will be postdated to a given date of a month and I am expected to pay in time. Nonetheless, should I decide to withdraw from a course, regardless of reason, any unpaid balance should be settled before I leave the program. Tuition must be collected on the payment due date. The Harvest Institute allows me to have a 5-day grace period as of tuition payment due date. If I fail to pay after the grace period I will lose any eligibility for a discounted tuition rate, if any, offered to me at the time of registration. In addition, I will not be admitted in class until my payment is settled.

WITHDRAWAL PROCEDURE: It is my responsibility to inform the school of withdrawal officially. In order to officially withdraw from the program, I must notify the school in writing. The date of the withdrawal will be the date when I write, sign and deliver a “Withdrawal Request letter” in person or by certified mail to the Institute’s Admission’s Office. If I am eligible for a refund it will be according to the refund policy found in this agreement. I will receive a grade WD (Withdrawal) when I abandon or withdraw the course previous to satisfying academic requirements used to assess my final score for the level I am withdrawing from. MATERIAL PURCHASE: I am responsible for purchasing and bringing to every class all necessary textbooks to take courses at the Institute and that I might not be admitted into classes without the appropriate materials, and if I am, I will be marked absent until I purchase or bring them to class. I have to purchase subsequent textbooks every time there is a change in level or a term which requires new books. ACADEMIC CALENDAR:  I understand that there is an Academic Calendar for the current year and that I need to plan my schedule for the whole session prior to joining the program. Any tests I miss or losses due to time mismanagement are my responsibility. EARLY DISMISSALS: It is my responsibility to read and understand the School’s academic/holiday calendar(s) which indicates all major holidays observed and early dismissal dates. There will be no tuition discounts for observed holidays. Summer and Winter breaks are pre-planned and will not interfere with my progress. The Institute foresees within the academic calendar 5 days of class cancelations due to “acts of God” and/or other unavoidable emergencies. IMAGE RIGHT RELEASE: I hereby grant the school and its subsidiaries, associated companies and licensees, permission to photograph and videotape my image while attending the school or activities conducted by the school. I understand that the school will own the still photographs and/or video footage in which I appear, and have the unrestricted right to publish such images in any school sales literature, on the school's web site, and in any other school marketing materials. I further understand that this grant is intended to be worldwide in scope and to apply to all media now existing or hereafter developed. I can refuse to take pictures or be filmed at any time by writing to the school requesting an image release cancellation, but this will not apply for images that have already been captured. CODE OF CONDUCT: The following are not accepted and will not be tolerated: 1. All forms of bias including race, ethnicity, gender, disability, national origin, and religion as demonstrated through verbal and written communication and physical acts.
