RESUMO

O presente artigo esclarecer os benefícios que a prática de leitura trás para os leitores e como ela é necessária para a construção do eu em sociedade. A temática em questão aborda as teorias que abrangeram a leitura desde o inicio, a relação que a mesma possui com a escrita, e como abordada na Educação Infantil. Nessa perspectiva, o estudo tem como objetivo entender o processo da leitura, estimulando a família e a escola a desenvolver, mais cedo, esta função na criança. Pesquisa qualitativa de cunho bibliográfico, na qual se teve acesso a varias fontes como: Livros institucionais, documentos especificados, bem como acesso a sites especializados na temática em questão. O estudo conclui que o ato de ler faz parte da construção do sujeito, para um bom convívio em sociedade.

ABSTRACT The present article clarifies the benefits that the practice of reading brings to readers and how it is necessary for the construction of the self in society. The thematic in question approaches the theories that covered the reading from the beginning, the relation that it has with the writing, and as approached in the Infantile Education. From this perspective, the study aims to understand the reading process, stimulating the family and school to develop this function in the child earlier. Qualitative research of a bibliographic character, in which we had access to several sources such as: Institutional books, specified documents, as well as access to specialized websites in the subject matter. The study concludes that the act of reading is part of the construction of the subject, for a good relationship in society. Keywords: Reading, Child, Knowledge.
